Inspiration for the Hanalei end grain chopping board came from the gorgeous sunsets at Hanalei Bay on the island of Kauai. We create the unique look of this board by first making several different edge grain pieces. We then reconfiguration those three boards to make each new Hanalei end grain chopping board. This varied pattern of end-grain protects the refined edge of your favorite knife. 

Handcrafted from black walnut, sapele, cherry, and hard maple woods. Each board will present a unique end grain pattern and will vary slightly from the boards pictured.
